roadtrek sink insert
Anyone actually have one of these or let alone use it? I was looking to get one - just to have it

No, I don't recall anyone ever using one. Just locate the nearest Roadtrek and the owner may still have it. Ok, I do and live in the metro New Orleans area. Mine is available.

I've got one. It lives in the bottom of my clothes cupboard, haven't actually used it. But, I'm keeping it - just in case....

We have one, it's in the box of stuff I put aside to include when (if ever) we sell or van.
I also have the cushions which become a bed from banquette seating, we bought a nice foam mattress and don't fold up the bed, so I save those also for the next owner.

The hygienic sink? First thing we threw away! Who has room to waste carrying that stupid thing? The ridiculous table that was too big to stow anywhere inside was second. I made a much nicer and handier tabletop.

So is it a screen, a plastic liner, a rack or what? Anyone have a picture so we know what to look for?

It's a sink-shaped plastic liner. The drain lines up with the sink drain.

Ok. I don't have one and don't think I need one . I searched "roadtrek sink liner" online for pictures and got quite a variety. From soft mats that sit on the bottom to bags with handles and what look like ordinary dish racks for draining the dishes. So now I am smarter but I probably will not get a pay increase.

I once found a YouTube video demo of the Roadtrek popular from way back in the 90’s. They described it as a sanitary way to wash your hands after using the washroom. None of the hand washing water sullied the sink. The flawed logic is that any fecal matter would end up on a porous plastic insert that you then have to handle to stow away. Alternatively you could wash your hands in a non porous porcelain sink and rinse any fecal matter away.
After saying all that, I stored mine in case I want to sell the van.

I don't have on in my '95 RT. Maybe one of the previous owners wanted to keep it for the house !
