Default Roadtrek Launches New Owners Web Support

Story on Newswire about changes to Roadtrek website:

Roadtrek Launches New Camper Van Owners Support Menu on Their Website
https://newswire.net/newsroom/pr/001...hymer-com.html

Looks to be mostly rearranging the information that was already there to make it easier to find. But they now also provide a link to schedule direct warranty service from the factory.

Looks to be just a re-arrangement to me too. Though some mentioned that there is now a section where you can order parts... ?? I never looked for that before as I left it to my dealer.

Yes, it appears you can now order parts directly from Roadtrek, no need to go through a dealer any more...

Higher margin and they get paid right away, both good for them right now.

just asked Roadtrek thru online chat if customers could buy direct from their site, and they said you still need to go thru dealer.

"Unfortunately we don't sell direct to retail customers. You'll need to connect with a dealer to get price cost and availability. On our website, go to "Locator" and just add your zip or postal code"

I happened to contact Roadtrek head office via email on January 23 2019 re availability of fiberglass lower body part for 1997 190P. I was then very surprise to get call next day letting us know that Hymer/RT had started selling parts direct to owners just that past Monday. I ordered the part at favorable price and it was delivered the following week! Way to go RT. A nice service for those of us without nearby or cooperative dealer, and so much faster.

i just bought an 2008 rs Adventourous. the seats are a bit uncomfortable, very "erect" and do not recline. It is aggravating some back issues. Anyone else having this problem? im wondering if there are any aftermarket seats available that might help, or cushions/wedges anything that might help.

Hi Keith
Welcome to the Forums

that's on a sprinter isn't it?

In my chev based RV the seats are by chev with "nice covers"- the frame and the foam are all GM
The foam broke down from use and time- I replaced with "upgraded" foam from a the seat shop on amazon
they have tutorials on youtube

I hope a R/T owner can confirm that it's the MB seat
( I couldn;t confirm mine and had to take apart the seat and THEN found the GM part number)

I have a long boring thread if you searched for posts containing "seat" by "mkguitar" in the advanced search

I'm very happy-

here is a product for the MB

https://www.amazon.com/Seat-Shop-Rep...7777915&sr=8-3

cheers, Mike
