Default Roadtrek Drawers Stuck Closed

We have a 2005 Roadtrek 210 Versatile, and the drawers have suddenly become stuck closed. It's odd, since I'm not aware of any event that could have triggered it. Shuggie (its name) has been resting in our driveway, and they did open fine until they didn't.... We did get a LOT of rain, so maybe the wood swelled? However, it's been pretty dry for weeks and they're still stuck closed. I'd appreciate any suggestions about how to get them open and functioning properly again. Thanks, Nick

I have a Roadtrek Ranger RT and if my RV is not 100% level, quite often some of the doors are extremely hard to open. Maybe something to double check…! Just a suggestion.

Since you mentioned "wood", I guess you are talkiung about the drawers under the kitchen counter. I have never experienced these drawers stuck closed, so have no knowledge to impart, other than trying a pry bar alone the side of the drawer front piece.

i was able to "force" mine open. The problem is on the slide on both sides a little metal "tang" that is bent just right so that the drawer will go "over" the bent metal and stay in place. But....if that metal gets bent a little too much the drawer gets stuck.

Once you do get the drawer open, do not close it again until you bend/adjust the metal tang. Long nose pliers might be appropriate.

Sorry that I cannot explain it better. If you can get the other drawer open, you might be able to observe how it lifts up and over the metal catch and you will get the idea.
