Roadtrek Coach Connect

Does anybody know what the problem was with Roadtrek's Coach Connect module introduced in 2014 that resulted in it being taken out of production?

Essentially, it didn't work, and they didn't have the engineering wherewithal to get it to work.

Here's something interesting. A Roadtrek seller on RV Trader visited the factory in March to address some problems including a non-functioning Coach Connect and and by his account it was resurrected by the factory. Here is his description of its current function:

I remember someone asked about this RV in one of the forums. I remember this RV because it was unusual - a brand new 2015 Roadtrek TS in 2018 !?!?

People were kind enough to explain to this person the disastrous Coach Connect and told him to stay away. I don't know if this same person bought the RV, probably not because he was well informed.

While the factory might have been able to get this particular unit working, the problem was that the dealers were totally flummoxed by it. Way too technical for your average RV tech who is not an expert on such things... not to mention that few of the owners could have run it if it actually worked. LOL
