Default Roadtrek 190P with enclosed bathroom

On RV.net, Rodger posted some photos of a Roadtrek 190P with an enclosed bathroom. Here's the link:

I haven't read the entire thread but the first post indicates that it is a prototype.

I like it.

I didn't mind the aisle shower in my 190P but blocking the center of the RV for "bathroom" use was a compromise particularly if you had a guest visiting.

Too much "stuff" getting stuffed into an already small interior.

Geez, the wardrobe is at the Captain's spine. The W/C moves forward and takes half the side entry.

An enclosed W/C-Shower might be nifty for some - not for me (we don't use the Van's shower anyway).

Don't care for the darker woodwork nor the dash wood.

Where's the audio/video equipment. I like to watch a DVD movie after a hot shower in the KOA's facility.

Some, however, would find this perfect.

Default Roadtrek 190P with enclosed bathroom

I am glad that RoadTrek finally has come out with a private bathroom in a RoadTrek 190, back in April 2004 I was in contact with Andrew Knowles at RoadTrek, he is no longer at RoadTrek. Every year I have been in contact with RoadTrek concerning a private or semi-private bathroom.

The new bathroom in the RT 190 is similar to the Leisure Travel Vans Free Flight, Kudos' to RoadTrek.

Here is a copy of an E-mail I received from Andrew Knowles

In a message dated 4/22/2004 10:52:19 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time, andrewk@roadtrek.com writes:

Good Morning Ron and Rose,

Thank you for your enquiry. We have indeed considered a separate bathroom facility. While this is not offered on our 2004 models we may offer this in the future. However, I cannot say exactly when that would be as we have our engineering resources are focused on our new 210 Popular and then on the Versatile version of the 210.
