Default Road Trek SS Agile?

Hi all,

I saw mention made of a Roadtrek model I've never heard of before...SS Agile...on www.rvstuff.ca. It's not on RT's website yet.

Does anyone have any specifics? Layout? MSRP?

Inquiring (covetous) minds want to know!

I just found the SS Agile press release on this site. Looks good! Is the bathroom module on the Agile the same as the Adventurous? Just by looking at the pics, I can't quite figure out how they cut the extra 18" out.

It reminds me a bit of the GMCs...there were 23' and 26' floor plans. GMC had a similar reuse of common parts.

Hi Dave - thanks for joining and for posting. This forum is only three weeks old so not many members yet. Lots of visitors though.

I like your word "covetous". That's describes me when I first saw the photos. I think H&P has a real winner with the SS-Agile. All I know is what is mentioned in the press release and what I could see in the photos.

You'll probably be interested in these floor plan photos below. All of the photos on the forum have been reduced in size. If you want to see larger ones send me a PM and I'll get them to you.

Default Video of SS Agile

For an academy award winning performance video-walkaround presentation of the new SS Agile, go to www.rvdream.com and go to "Jim's Page", the video should load automatically.

They have a 360 degree virtual tour of the vehicle there as well.

Seems like most prefer the silver. I think the silver would look nice, but the white with the stripes looks pretty good, kinda sporty looking.

I guess the silver with minimalist striping would be a little more stealthy, and kinda classy looking.

Any word on new, more powerful engines for the 2007's?

For me, the positives about this unit far outway some things I see as negatives
--22 gal grey/black combined, 21 gal fresh....is this enough for a few days of boondocking?.
--propane gen. it has a 45 lb tank, is that enough to last a while running the a/c, cooking, etc?
--spare tire on back instead of stowed, only because I'd want to put a rack on the hitch to carry a small off-road motorcycle. maybe both would fit, or could stow spare under sofa.

Small stuff. I'll have to go see one soon. It'll be my only vehicle, so I love the size for city driving and what they've done inside with the open, panoramic drivers side, and with the rear sofa, and enclosed bath, which seems mandatory for the ladies. Really looks great for a single or couple to trek around, and maybe full-time myself, when not working.

Now that Spormobile is doing Sprinter 4x4 conversions, i wonder if they would convert an Agile?

Great site Markopolo...thanks.

Welcome to the Class B Forum wilburleft - I'm glad that you like it.

I have a few more photos here: More Photos

You've probably seen them.

I don't know much about the 2007's. I haven't read any complaints from current Sprinter owners about lack of power.

Re: 22 gal grey/black combined, & 21 gal fresh - I think my wife & I could go three days with that. We drink bottled water though. I doubt we'd be able to get 6 showers but you can get clean enough with a wash cloth........

Re: propane gen. 45 lb tank - cooking & fridge doesn't seem to use much propane. You can get a few meals out of a 1lb tank. I think the generator could consume 1/2 gallon per hour running the airconditioner. It consumes .6 gallons per hour at full load.

The continental spare tire kit is a standard feature so there might not be room under the sofa. Just a guess on my part.

The towing tongue weight is 500 lbs. so maybe both the spare tire kit and a small motorcycle can hang on the hitch.
