Default Road Tax

.

It just dawn on me that some folks are paying ROAD TAX to heat their RV.

I am talking about the diesel RV with the diesel Alde, Webasto, or Espar.

You can file tax return Form 4136, Credit for Federal Tax Paid on Fuels.

Or, you can look up the meaning of the term de minimus.

If you buy fuel in AZ, much of the road tax money is siphoned off for items which the Ruling Class do not want to fund directly.

Arizona governor's grab of cash for roads risks fight in legislature

So think about Gov. Ice Cream Cone when you hit a pothole and break something.

The "roadworks" we know is kicking the can down the road...

'Ducey budget Director Lorenzo Romero said at a legislative budget briefing Tuesday. “The way that we do our budgeting …. is for those one-time items to be backed out the next year. And we’ve done that, appropriately maintaining the existing funding structure.” '

"Gov. Ice Cream cone" LOL!! Love that one.
You might have to explain for our Canadian friends.
I would discourage anyone with an RV or classic car driving
Hiway 89 from Yarnell to Page/ Lake (pond) Powell.
Pot holes & heat heaves are as bad as the Alaska hiway from
Whitehorse, Yukon to the Alaska border. Been there, done that too.

Governor Doug Douce (R-AZ) founded & franchised "Cold Stone" ice cream in Az & south west. Most franchisees went broke for various reasons; Douce did not. Was very vague about his part in the fiasco during campaign for gov.
Now we have gone Way off topic of this thread & gone political.
But the question was asked & answered. ..
Back to conditions of our Roads in U.S.
