Default Replacement Shocks For My 96' Ford Coachmen

Hey everyone. I am going to replace all my shocks on my 1996 Ford E250 Coachmen and wanted to get some opinions about some options im looking at.

I was originally looking at getting Bilsteins but they are over $100 each. Rock auto has some great deals on Heavy Duty Gabriels for only $16!

They also have Monroes for $33

Any opinions on these or should I go with something else? Full list of shocks available for my van is here.

Thanks so much!

Nice looking rig.

I'm not a good source as I spent a small fortune on Koni FDS shocks for my Chevy Express-based "B" from shockwarehouse. My thinking was I wanted to get the best shock the first time and figure with my limited use, they would be the last shocks I would buy.

I bought the Koni's over Bilsteins specifically because they were NOT gas charged. They promised good ride and good control and do not disappoint. However, you'll enjoy improvements from any new shocks since our old ones are always worn more than we realize.
