if you are near blackburn hamlet the garage we use for our Mum's car has been just great for service fr many years - J&S Service on Innes
On my pickup the "trailer wiring" was a factory option...if not ordered they just tape over the connector...I peeled the tape back.
on my van the trailer wiring pigtail runs from the plug, toward the drivers side- then along the top surface of the trailer hitch then up over top of the genny...I couldn;t trace it from there
sometimes with the automotive part- check the chevy forums

As for the frames, screws, etc - they make their own. To you & I it seems difficult but they do this all days, everyday- I am in Los Angeles if you need a referral - I had him replace all the front hood liner also & the visors.
About $400-600 total.

Hi. We just got a 2010 Pleasure Way Excel TS. There are sections of the cloth interior that are completely disintegrating. Would you mind sharing your contact that did your interior repairs? Do you know if they are still in business?

I commented on #16 & #18.
In my 2005 I had the complete rear done in a high quality, very durable Automotive Fabrics which is easy to clean & doesn't absorb cooking odours versus the old fabric from Roadtrek.
And then the front area & the hood liners & visors.
A quality Upholstery Professional can take a car wreck, make all the templates & have your car looking exactly how you wish including colour, fabric, rtc for a fraction of the manufacturer.

Repairing Cloth Walls
We are the 2nd owner of an original Arizona coach and that hot dry sun maybe good for the metal chassis in helping to prevent rust the heat is hard for the cloth interior walls. I'm in the planning and staging to recover all damaged areas. I've purchased a light weight outdoor canvas material for this project. I've already removed a few small damaged wall pieces around the rear doors and from what I see my using upholstery contact glue and securing the edges to the back with glue and 1/4 inch staples should do the trick.... wish me luck!

The cloth wall covering has failed in a couple of areas in our 2005 PW TD, and I've started with removing a very small wall, the header over the entrance into the coach. (this panel is just below that rig's information controls panel). Its a little trying to remove, but can be done. First remove the 4 screws on the top shelf over the controls and remove the shelf; next remove the 3 screws at the bottom - inside of the control box and then remove the 3 covered cloth buttons on the face of the panel to expose the screws. Once all screws are removed the panel will drop free and ready to be recovered ....

I would love the name of your guy. A few of the cloth panels in my 2007 RT are rotting. I'm in Orange County. Thanks!

Going through your album it does look great and could soon be of real help to us.
I notice area of wear on the panels adjacent to the rear doors on our van
your choice of fabric looks great too- our PW has brown curtains and the original wall coverings are a buff- I think your fabric would look great.
Wonder if with panels off there is any opportunity to improve insulation ?
cheers, Mike

Repairing Cloth Walls
Hi Mike,
All panels that I removed provided no opportunity to add insulation.
Thank you for your interest ...Best..Caryll
