My Carefree "Freestyle Evolution" just self-destructed. I had only used it maybe 10 times. I was trying to retract it when it shot out completely, like a projectile. I guess the motor gears are stripped.
I am just beyond the 1 year warranty, Carefree says sorry, just need to bring it to a service center to get it repaired. Gonna check with Thor, but then depending on how much it costs to fix I might consider to just trash it and live without an awning. Or get something entirely manual.
