Default Rear sway bar help

Does anybody have any pictures of an installed rear sway bar on their promaster.
I’ve got one on order for mine and downloaded the installation instructions, but the pics don’t make any sense. If I could see what a mounted one looks like it would help.

Just go around town and find a 3500 extended body and you will see it.

I have a picture somewhere in my harddrive, I have to dig it up.

Here's the picture.......

Also...may I suggest that you call Super Steer in Grants Pass Oregon... speak with Dave..he knows a lot about this stuff....

I did three things with my Sprinter...new KONI FSD shocks... larger Roadmaster Sway Bar and Super Steer makes their own proprietary track bar....

The sway bar is black in the photo...

I was VERY pleased with the results...I have a lot more control.......

Call and talk with these guys....541-326-4033

Good luck....

I’m installing mine on a 2017 Promaster 2500, FWD. not sure if it will mount the same way as on a RWD model, but it gives me an idea of where to look for mounting locations.
The instructions I downloaded show close-ups of the mounting points, but too close to get an idea of where these mounting point are located on the van.

Mojoman installed a Hellwig bar and rear air bags on his Promaster:

Ok, it bolts to the rear axle, got it. That’s not what the Hellwig instruction show, at least not clearly

Here is the instruction sheet for my Hellwig bar #7768

The instructions you posted show the sway bar attaching to the van unibody and the links attaching to the axle.

Mojoman's bar is shown with the sway bar attached to the axle and the links attached to the van unibody.

I suggest calling Hellwig - I've found them to be very helpful.

That is why I’m confused, it doesn’t clearly show where it mounts..

Very well could be different....I was sharing that my sway bar made a huge difference.... you are absolutely right for checking the installation on the other vehicle.....
