Default rear A/C unit / rear cooling while driving

What is best solution to get A/C to rear of RV while driving?

I have a RT Simplicity with couch in rear. Setup is same for many other RVs (Zion, Pleasureway, etc.). Rooftop A/C will not run while driving. I do not have the underhood generator in case that would solve the problem.

So far, we have used a fan for the sole rider in the rear or opened the window on occasion. Obviously not an issue for Travatos or others with seating near front.

Those with the engine generator would use it with the inverter to run the rear AC. Those with an Onan generator would run that to run the AC directly. Those with neither can only do things like use fans to blow the cooling from the van air to the rear.

The only option you have left out is using the van compressor and installing an evaporator/fan in the rear. Rear heat/AC is a normal option for van's.
