Default Real Leather Upholstery

Most every B manufacturer offers a fake leather like upholstery called Ultraleather. Now Advanced RV is offering honest to goodness real leather upholstery.

Personalization is the cornerstone of what we do at Advanced RV. We can accommodate just about any request, and enjoy exploring possibilities to help design your ideal motor home.

For example, recently several clients requested real leather for upholstery on the seats and sofa beds in their motor homes. (Typically we work with synthetic materials in a wide range of colors and finishes, selected for durability and beauty.) We started searching for an environmentally responsible way to cater to their requests and provide a product that meets our exacting standards.

The leather we found is produced as a by-product of the meat industry (a distinction sometimes referred to as “sustainably harvested leather” or “ethical leather”) and is processed in a way that minimizes the impact of harsh chemicals on the environment and people preparing the product.

Has a B ever been offered with real leather as an option? If so, I would imagine it has been a few years since before Ultraleather became so pervasive. I am typing this while sitting on a real leather recliner. It's awfully nice, but what would be the benefits over Ultraleather?

If I recall correctly, UltraLeather won't get stiff or crack in cold temperatures. It is also easier to clean.

I read someplace that cats don't damage ultraleather like they do with leather. From experience I know they damage real leather sofas.
