Default PW excel with new super quiet onan?

I'm considering getting back in the game despite my disease.

I always wanted a PW excel td wide body BUT did not want the loud Onan generator.

i'm wondering if the fittings for the pw excel wide body will fit the new onan which i have heard and seen compared in videos with sound meters and are at least 10 decibles lower which is almost twice the sound. lowered

I am aware that some excels have a wandering issue.

I have money but my time in existance is up for question.

leaving money to children is not my priority. they are doing ok themselves.

I've not driven the Excel TD, but there is no doubt 'some' of them had handling problems. It sure did seem to vary a lot. I would have purchased one (really liked them), but at the time I needed a third seat so that meant a Roadtrek Popular for me, removed the seat and box under it though then put the seat back about 7 years ago.

If I found a 'good' one, I would definitely consider buying it. Given this market concerning 'availability', if a new Beyond with everything and extra lithium watts shows up near me it is sold. One reason is much like yours "I have money but my time in existance is up for question." For me, it needs to be sooner rather that later, or I'll be remaining with the 05/04 190P. Zero complains about my circumstances, I'm a very lucky fellow.

Hope you find one. Please keep us posted.

I suggest comparing dimensions from installation instructions for each generator, often found on the web.

Is there really an Onan 2800 that is 10 dB quieter? I would really like one but it seems like a Sasquatch. I have not seen any hard data comparing the so-called "super quiet" Onan with the originals.
