Hey Dan is this the list:

http://www.koa.com/familyzone/pdfs/camp ... cklist.pdf (right click, save as....)

I prepped early. De-winterized in Feb!

I had good intentions earlier this year for Spring Cleaning. I took just about everything out of my van and put it in my utility room. The plan was to decide what I really needed...........

Well, I needed space in the utility room so you can guess what happened .................

Did you ever get/decide on what trunk system you will use?

As soon as we get our tax refund we will be getting one, still not sure yet. I am leaning toward a Stoway2 Max swingaway.

I'm going to build something custom. I only need it for a generator. Here's the cargo carrier topic:

http://classbforum.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=379

I think bobojay is thinking about getting a cargo carrier also.

Let's keep this thread on the topic: Prep your RV for summer use!

Default The most common problems that B owners have!

When getting Class B's prepped for summer use, I've seen three mistakes people make.
1 Not running generator 2 times a month for at least a 1/2 hour, under a load!
2 Keeping coach batteries charged and full of distilled water!
3 Not wineterizing the correctly!

Having a check list for winter storage is also avalible on koa's site!

I'll have to get my RV out early this year. I have to get it ready for a big move. Work has decided to move me and my RV is the only thing I have that will pull my trailer. We're moving from Manitoba to South-Eastern Ontario. We have to get everything ready by mid-July. My RV needs new motor mounts and transmission mounts. I don't know what else I'm going to find that needs fixing. I didn't get the RV out of storage last year and I'm a little worried about what shape it's in now.

Wow, renrut - that's more than your average summer prep!

You'll be in paulm territory! Are you happy about moving?

Will you do the new motor mounts and transmission mounts or let a shop do it?

I wasn't expecting the move. They kind of through it at me with no real warning. They're promoting me and there is no position for me here so they have to move me. At least, that is what they are telling me.

I'm hoping to do all the work on the RV myself. The motor mounts do not look like an easy job. I may have to rent cutting torches to get the old ones off. I bought all the parts so I just need to replace them. I also bought a carberator rebuild kit but may leave that. I've never rebuilt a carberator before and don't want to take the chance of wrecking it. The joys of owning a 1977 RV.

I work outside and it's been very cold here. We've had wind chills of -25C all week. The wind had been very strong. I rode my bicycle to work yesterday morning and I was very awake by the time I got there.

My RV storage runs out mid-month. I'm hoping it warms up a lot by then.
