I would check with your local Freightliner dealer. We bought our new Sprinter van in 2016 from our local Freightliner dealer and have used them for all of the maintenance items that I can't do myself which has only been fuel filters and brakes. They have been great and pretty reasonable. I have never been to a Mercedes dealership. Our Sprinter van so far has been a very reliable vehicle with no higher ownership costs than any other vehicle that I have owned.
Honestly, I would hate to own a Class B if I didn't have even some modest DIY skills. It seems like there is always some upgrading, tinkering or minor repair work to the systems and appliances in these RV's. They are pretty complicated vehicles that get beaten up on the roads. I would hate to own a Class B and then have to pay someone to do all the things that these RV's require including a simple 20 min oil change with the proper oil that you can buy cheap at Walmart.

5w30, 229.52 spec oil
idparts.com sells the MB branded version. Their price relative to local MB dealer varies +/- a couple of dollars.
Many sources listed above have the Mobil 1 ESP. During ChinaVirus times it was actually more expensive than the MB oil.
I have not found other brands with 229.52 spec that are readily available in the US

Just had mine done at Sun Motors in PA. $270.58. It's an easy DIY; but, I just don't want to mess with oil anymore.

Your Quote for $382 may have been for the full "A" or "B" Service package. My MB Dealer in Tampa cost $199 for 12.5 liters oil, filter. Certainly this can be a DIY job, but my HOA frowns on working on vehicles. Just be sure to use correct spec synthetic oil. PS, changing the diesel fuel filter / water separator was another $433

As mentioned above, if you can find a Freightliner dealer who will still work on Sprinters (many won't), you will find a whole different vibe and pricing structure vs. the Mercedes dealers.
Also, there are still quite a few independent shops out there, and. many do excellent work, and can generally handle most non-emissions-related work. If you can find one, you can save a lot of money and often gain a lot in convenience. No biscotti, though.

This is good advice. The Freightliner dealer in Annapolis, MD, American Bus, has been servicing my Sprinters for the last 10 years. They still have full Mercedes Sprinter capability to do maintenance, repairs and warranty work. When Mercedes dropped the Freightliner Sprinter brand this shop just obtained a Sprinter service agreement with Mercedes.

I made sure to compare apples to appless for quotes for engine oil and its filter only, no "A" not "B".

McCoy Freightliner dealer in Portland used to service Sprinters including mine, unfortunately they shot down their business and independent shops leverage their prices on Wilsonville MB dealer - (Portlland's only Sprinters dealer)

You might try Sprinter Post on the East Side
I had a good experience with Sprinter Post. Knowledgable and honest. They pointed out that McCoy Freightline, where I had been going for years, never changed the engine air filter as part of the A or B service.
The only downside is there can be a language barrier. These guys are Ukranian immigrants, mostly.
They are now located at 18361 SE Stark St, Portland, OR 97233.
