Porch light replacement, NOT motion activated

Hi
I'm on the hunt for a replacement for my porch light which is faulty. Seems to be a common complaint. I've taken a look at some of suggestions but, we would like to have the light not or non-motion activated. We want to simply be able to turn it on and off when we would like to use it.
There are valid arguments for motion activated but we have these on other places of the vehicle.

My solutions. these are LEDs, when mounted, they direct the light down at a 45* angle.

If you have the bayonet style bulb mount, clean it out


I clean electric contacts with a "nic-sand" tool which is a pen with fiberglass strands- auto body supply or electronic supply


then use a ( plastic safe) contact cleaner such as deoxit-



finish up with a little dieelectric grease


I use adapters to convert all my incandescent bulb fixtures to accept leds

these use 1/10th the power for same amount of light and can be found in the 2800kelvin range- which is "browner" and easier on the eyes
