Parks Canada Passes free for 2017

My old employer Parks Canada ( i worked the Citadel in Halifax), is celebrating it's Sesquicentennial- with free passes- ordered online with free shipping.

Thnx, Mike. We are planning our next summer trip to Montana, Idaho & Washington. I'll order the "Canada Parks" pass to include Banff & maybe Jasper Providencial parks.

Originally when the federal government conceived of this offer, they stated that paid 2016 passes would also be honored in 2017. I'm not sure if that provision still stands, but I ordered the new ones anyway.

My husband and I travel to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park almost every year (8 out of the last 9 years), as I still have family in the area. That's our "reverse snowbirding" trip, to get us out of the southeast Texas heat for a couple of weeks at the height of each summer.

We also purchased the pass in June 2016 and it has an expiry of June 2018. We paid for a year with the free bonus year but ours is calendar based. So we could still use it in May/June 2018
