I've removed the toilet for repairs and the 2-handle faucet for replacement with a single handle. I always thought my sink and shower pan were "almond" colored. Interesting how much oxidation has occurred in 25 years. I did try hydrogen peroxide but it did nothing. Almond colored it is! (Unless anyone out there has found a good solution for removing oxidation.

The toilet pic is from my initial disassembling of an aqua-magic IV toilet. I wanted to remove the overflow hose completely and seal off the opening into the bowl (which I've done with a small piece of white plastic and white marine epoxy). I was trying to seal off any avenue for black tank odor. What I found was that the hose going from the fill reservoir to the nozzle in the bowl had a crack (you can see it where it curves to go into the nozzle). That obviously explains the rather wimpy flush. Any water coming out of the leak went into the black tank so no leak outside noticeable. But that also means that when the toilet isn't being flushed, odor can come from the tank, into the crack in the hose and into the bowl of the toilet. Also replaced seal and water valve since I had one on hand.
