Unfortunately, the genset for my RT doesn't set underneath the carriage like yours or else I would have done something similar.

Question for bwatters60: I have seen threads on this subject where some folks have suggested just leaving the original pump in the genset and adding the new pump in line. Did you do that or remove the original?
