Default Oil change Breckenridge CO

Hoping to find someone familiar with RVs , especially RT 210P. Hope I didn’t post this before…on the road and getting a little fuzzy. Thanks for any help, M

The oil change in the Chev is easy as pie.

I do mine on my level driveway without raising the van ( although if you have leveling blocks 2 inches under the left front tire makes easier)

You'll need 6 quarts of oil ( capacity likely between 5 and 6 qts
I use mobil 1 10w-40 for hot weather. But use same brand oil as last change if you know what it was

the chev takes a fram ph3506 filter

and a disposable turkey pan

walmart has all this

15mm wrench for the drain plug
the filter if you can't get off, pierce the side with a screwdriver ( catch the oil) and use screwdriver as a lever

after you drain oil, pour the old into jugs and take to any autoparts store for recycling- the old filter too

or find any automotive shop it doesn;t have to know anything about RV's

I would advise against any shop which siphons out the fill tube rather than drains from the pan
Suggest you get the chassis lubed while they are under there ( usually in a pit)

and you should get synthetic oil- unless it has been running conventional oil

in which case I use 2 3000 mile cycles of semi synthetic, then on 3rd change to synthetic.
Syn resists break down under hot conditions, cleans better and lasts longer- 5000 miles unless you are driving through dust all day or towing

I'd look for a pit-type oil change service with a tall enough bay door.

That's what I use locally and it avoids lifts.

recalling today that subject to a legal settlement one of the chains now calls this dipstick tube suck a "fluid exchange"
