Default NewGMparts.com for GM vehicle parts

If you need a GM vehicle part you might want to check NewGMparts.com http://www.newgmparts.com/partlocato...?siteid=213815

I recently ordered the rubber weatherstripping for the side entry doors and the front passenger door for my 1997 GMC Savana. The weatherstripping on my van is sticking out from under those doors and I figured I'd better get them while they are still available. I haven't received the parts yet but the customer service has been very good so far both on the phone and in email.

Prices were better than what I was quoted by GM dealers in the U.S. and Canada. I was not able to find aftermarket replacement weatherstripping for all three doors.

Part diagrams make it easy to pick the part you need. Example:

I will update this post after I receive the parts.

I received the parts I ordered. Genuine GM packaging.
It was fast enough. It took about 1 1/2 weeks to get it and it came through regular mail.

I ordered 3 weatherstrips and after factoring in all charges including shipping and taxes I saved $150 from what a local GM Dealer quoted me.

I cannot open the left door at the rear... The right one (the first one to open is fine), But something is broken on the second door.

I will go see a dealer to see what it is, and I will order it from them if it is less expensive, because surely there are delivery fees to add...

Thanks a lot for the "lien"... Oupsss I forget how to say "lien" in english, thread maybe?

You can really save money when buying more than one part at a time.
I bought 3 parts and saved $150 after factoring in shipping.

I needed another part recently. That part was $40 at NewGMparts and $90 at the nearest GM dealer. However, shipping was $45 because of the size box needed so I bought the part at the local GM dealer. It doesn't work out so well for only one part.
