Default "New-to-me" 2005 Rialta owner

I will have a lot of questions from you folks before I head out on my own, so I shall thank you in advance.

Right now, I'll ask just one hopefully simple one regarding the "coach batteries". The dealer installed new batteries and when I inquired as to what type they were, I was told "just regular RV batteries". Not helpful. This is what reads on the top, "DC 24-75 DEEP CYCLE 75Ah 140mRC 550CCA". The batteries are sealed. What can I expect regarding these batteries....performance? maintenance - none? longevity? how do I check "status"?

not sure if this helps, but check out this Rialta site for more battery info:

Hi and welcome! The Group 75 Deep cycle is correct. I am in the hot desert climate of Arizona. I can expect 2-4 years max on these. In "normal" climates you should get a few more years in addition. Keep them charged. I run my generator once every week or two for at least 30 min. This seems to keep them up unless you want to plug in OR you are driving this often. Ask away, always glad to help.

From ebay for under $5 you can buy LCD 12v
24v36v 48v lead acid/lithium Battery Status
Voltage Voltmeter and hook to battery and always
See battery status 100 percent or 88 percent
For example and how many volts putting out.
Only need one for both batteries. BobL 2002 HD Rialta
