New Roadtrek at Hershey Show ? ? ?
Is there going to be a new Roadtrek at the Hershey Show in September? There are some hints on their Facebook page.

My first guess was that it will be the public debut of the recently announced Ranger RT http://www.classbforum.com/phpBB2/vi...hp?f=13&t=2277
Could they introduce two models in a year?

Re: New Roadtrek at Hershey Show ? ? ?
The new Ranger RT does not fit the description of the announcement. They need to upgrade their Sprinter design to keep up with the other manufacturers. Leisure Travel Vans has thrown down a gauntlet in that class with their new slideout. Great West Vans is overhauling their design. Advanced RV will be coming out with a new model. Winnebago ERA has pushed into new plan design. Pleasure-Way has expanded their Sprinter plan layout offerings.

The new Roadtrek must be onsite at Hershey.
Some quotes from Facebook pages for everyone who is not on Facebook:

Re: New Roadtrek at Hershey Show ? ? ?
There was discussion on the Yahoo Group about a new electronic fuel injection (EFI) generator from Onan. Maybe it is in the new Roadtrek. Also mentioned there was the possibility of the new RT being on a Chevy platform............ There should be some photos today.

So Ron was having fun with us. I am still laughing I believed him. It is fun though.
So don't go asking your RT dealer for the rear bath, slide-out, Chevy................

I am not delaying this on purpose, I am late. So please be patient, and please enjoy your night!

Re: New Roadtrek at Hershey Show ? ? ?
Considering the negative comments and criticisms/complaints about fit, finish, and construction quality on almost all of their recent offerings that I've read on various web forums over the last 2 years, I'll have to take a somewhat more skeptical position on anything new from them. You have to discount some of the comments as agenda driven, but It really is a shame so many people seem to be unhappy with their Roadtreks. Stil, for every one with a complaint, there are probably a handful who are satisfied customers. If that weren't the case, we'd be reading about Roadtrek going into receivership.
Should be interesting. Probably doing away with the aisle shower, giving it an enclosed dry bath, like many of the competition, and going to a larger unit to make it possible.
