The ironic thing... around where I live, if a Sprinter is badged as a Freightliner, the neighbors will come up and threaten sic the local constable about having an "unauthorized work vehicle" in the driveway. Same van with the rear badge changed out to a Benz logo? Get compliments for good taste. Amazing what a piece of plastic attached with two torx screws that gets slapped between the doors can do to attitudes.

If I went the Sportsmobile route, I would buy the van from Freightliner (the local FL guys are REALLY easy to work with) and rebadge it just to please the looky-loos. When I move, the FL badges go back on.
