I have seen that but it does not match the spec for the inverters so where it comes from is a mystery as with many things from Roadtrek...

Maybe they were counting on both being on.

If so, it would be nice to have easier access to both rear doors.
I have not been able to see one of these vans with the Li batteries and no propane yet.
Not much room.

Those are lithium batteries.

Do you have the 400AH or 800AH ecotrek option, looks like just 400AH (two modules) or are there two more that aren't shown?

We only got the 400. She researched and thought for our needs that was the right amount. We ended up with:

300 Solar (Only got 300 due to keeping height of van down - other posts)
400 Lithium
Diesel Alde (No Propane)
Charcoal (out)/Grey (in)
Volt Start (Under Hood Gen)

I questioned whether we should have gone with 800 but she said "no". We will see. Her logic was we wouldn't be staying anywhere more than 1 day or 2 at the most. Also, she is not a fan of air (keeps our house set to 80-81 degrees) so she believes we are okay....time will tell.

It is too bad that they can't put the lithium batteries inside the van both to preserve the spare tire space but also to keep them warmer for charging in colder weather.

What is inside both of the side ottomans? Is there any storage space there? That would have seemed like a good place for batteries.

Thanks for posting the info and great pics.

Good question and I am not sure.....in Tampa at least I am not concerned about the cold. We just got back from delivery in NJ and honestly haven't played at all. Will be washing/waxing and detailing from the trip tomorrow and will check her all out. My wife says there is not storage under the seat but we haven't actually checked......others may know??

Be happy she decided. If something goes wrong she can not blame you

If your style is 1 or 2 days at the most you will have no problem with 400ah. 800ah and Voltstart will not solve anyone's air conditioning concerns. When that dire common sense is to seek shore power. That is extremely rare for me as a northerner. It might be a greater concern for a southerner, but campgrounds with shore power are very common now including public campgrounds.

Thx and agree. We are former northerners and despite that it needs to be extremely warm before she will seek to turn on air. Heat is another issue. I need to do a bit more research on the power consumption of the Diesel Alde and or electric blankets.

The key to this entire purchase was the fact that we could store within our condo's garage. We are minimalists so the size is fine but for the difference in cash, if I had to store I would have gotten a full-sized B.

Added Note: We kept her BMW X3 till we knew the Agile would fit. Brought that to CarMax last evening. Second good experience with them. Was offered $1,500 dollars more than black book wholesale so better than we expected.

The batteries have heating pads so keeping them warm in cold weather is not an issue.

That doesn't solve the annoying microwave clock issue. When you turn your inverter on and off you also kill the power to the microwave. Then when you turn your inverter on, you get the blinking annoying control panel which requires you to reset the clock to make the blinking go away. That is the case with the Sharp microwave/convection oven I am sure Avanti has. This is the same annoyance when power goes off at your house and the many digital clocks you may have.

The clock on my microwave doesn't blink. It just shows a couple little points of light... not even an 0:00. Not sure if RT puts the same microwave in all units, but I know that they use it in most.

Actually, mine doesn't blink, either. Its just that it's SUPPOSED to show the time, and it bugs me. I am not usually all that compulsive, but for some reason, this one bothers me. The ironic thing is that I take pride in not caring what time it is.

I will have to check, but I don't recall our Dometic microwave blinking when the power is turned on.
