A few years ago, when we had a 2005 LTV Free Spirit Sprinter, we drove all the tunnels. Yes they are tight. You can go online to check out the dimensions. We have not driven the Travato there.
I have gone through the Needles Highway tunnels in three different Bs. You will encounter an 8-4" width in one tunnel and a 10'-7" height in another tunnels. I didn't tuck in my mirrors on the Sprinter. I doubt all small Cs could make it. Chalk up another one that Class Bs can go anywhere.

I just did the Needles and the Iron Mountain road this past weekend. I did fold in my mirrors on two of the tunnels. Not sure if I needed to but figured it wouldnt hurt. I also downshifted to the manual shift and did the loopy areas in first or second gear and that helped stay off the brakes. 2017.5 Travato
