.

Dometic used to sell a repair kit for $18.
Not sure if it is still available.

Many people make a mold out of aluminum duct tape, pour in JB weld, let sit overnight. Then drill out holes for hinge pins and bushing.

Thank you.

got a hold of Dometic. They told me the only replacement for that door is to buy another full door assemble.

I am going to try to avoid that

Dometic customer service is a 5/10

Dometic product servicability 1/10

Horrible company and really bad product.

Its not a bout the $730, though that's ridiculous especially considering the shoddy design

Its more about the fact that they agree with me that my only mistake is accepting a dometic product---Pure JUNK!!!

You need to take that door off and put it on a work bench so you can really take a look at what went wrong and what you need to do to fix it. I wouldn't be considering a new door until I did at least that much. Besides, it's got to come off anyway.

From what I can see from your pictures, it doesn't look that major.

i just got my door fixed under warranty. Its a 16.5 Travato G. I brought it home after camping world replaced the door. I was putting the shelves back in the door because CW did not. As I went to shut the door after assembly i could see where it is already cracking again! I am going to take it off and do some jb weld repair. I may even attempt to hack off the top portion so that I can change modes without opening the door. I saw this on the fitrv website and the Travato facebook page. I love the rig but this door is just sad.
