My thoughts on Hershey RV Show
Made this report on my trip to the Hershey Show 2 weeks ago. Pomona show is later this week with the Paseo making it's big public debut.

Nice report...
Just to set the record straight, the original Avion trailer was a separate company, not a lower priced Airstream. In fact, I think Airstream may have sued them for copying their design...

Good report.
The Galleria looks to be a good choice for someone like me.
1. low price
2. good features
I'd redo the electrical with 4 AGM's and a large PSW inverter to meet my preference. You don't have to do that though.
I'm not in the market for a new B but that one surprisingly (to me) has leapt to the top of list of Sprinter B's.

Argosy must be what I was thinking of. But occasionally you do see Avions on the airstream forum.

I'd agree. If I was in the market for a Sprinter, the Galleria would be at the top of my list, along with the Era 170A. Coachmen is offering a solar option too. Era's bathroom is pretty poor size-wise in my view, but the interior is plush and the multiplex is nice. Nobody has better cabinetry right now than the Galleria and the bathroom is claimed to be the largest in a Sprinter bar none.

I expect Davydd may take the opportunity to explain that he feels that some other builder has better cabinetry than in the Galleria...

Do you really want me to say anything?

I'll handle it,
Wincrasher...
What about ARV, their cabinetry seems superior to any other Class B to me?

ARV in my view is at a price level and wait time that it is out of consideration. It doesn't really matter how "superior" it is. It doesn't really matter if you like their aesthetic or not. I just won't be one of their customers because it far exceeds the level I'm willing to spend for this type of RV and the time I'd be willing to wait. 50 lucky, well heeled travelers will get to buy them each year - but I won't be among them.

Great report... thanks.
Question: Is Roadtrek making the Simplicity in two lengths? On their website, there is only the 20'9" version. Also the website shows the power sofa... but it is being shown without it? Depending on the price point and available options, I just might be interested in a short one without a power sofa in a year or so. (or the Hymer...)
(and everyone is more reserved than Dean at Leisure Travel... LOL)

What they chose to display at the show is probably not all the options available, nor does it preclude that they show things that aren't on the official options list.
they did have a short and a long version and no power sofa in sight. no indication that anything was a "concept". Even the Link didn't have anything that indicated it was a concept vehicle and not a product.

Wincrasher any comments from WGO regarding the future of their Sprinter Adventure concept?

Not officially. Don't get your hopes up on it becoming a real product. You might see some details show up in other products. The roof rack system is one that is already in production on the Travatos.
