Default My Newest Toy

Due to the high gas prices, I broke down and bought myself something a little cheaper to drive to and from work. Bought a Kawasaki KLR650 motorcycle. Got last year's model for almost dealer costs.

I'm hoping to save on gas driving it so we can put the saved money to some camping trips this summer. We were hoping to travel to Winnipeg MB to visit family but that will depend a lot on the price of gas and us getting a new RV. Looking at campers right now but will see as summer gets closer. If the rain doesn't stop, we won't be going anywhere. We still have to figure out what to do with our C Class RV.

Congrats, that is a fine looking ride. Will be interesting when you tell your MPG!! I have a friend that rides a Harley and he said something to the effect of 66MPG - that is really a good deal. Hopefully you will get to ride it for pleasure - they are a blast to run backroads with and enjoy the open country. Safe travels.

It takes a lot of discipline to put $10 or so into a piggy bank everytime you fill up the two-wheeler.
