The article is kind of obtuse, but I think that the mention of "real time" was intended to refer to real-time access via an API to the reservation system itself, not necessarily to the campground. This is good for app developers (e.g., apps like AllStays
et al could potentially show campsite availability), but I don't see that it is going to make much difference to end users, except maybe better user interfaces.
