Default missing panel

Greetings. I'm looking for a solution to the clip that holds the water heater panel on the outside of my 2006 Roadtrek (sorry, I wasn't able to upload a photo). It's a spring-loaded plastic finger handle that you can fit through a slot and twists from vertical to horizontal to hold the panel in place. Anyway, it broke off. Any ideas how to replace it or buy a new piece? I'm using a safety pin now and will probably just use bailing wire for lack of anything else, but it's not the most aesthetic solution.

Amazon has them in a range of quality and price (from $4-$12)

Here's a $12 option:

You want a metal one like this. I also added a wire lanyard attaching the panel to the van as a secondary holding device if the latch fails.

I also put lanyards on all my external opening doors including the fridge and heater panels. We see a few requests for replacement doors and they are very hard to find, better to eliminate the problem than deal with the grief!

I just had to replace the Spring Loaded Latch for my water heater door.
If that's what you are talking about then here is the info that I have on the latch.
Ebay;
RV/Camper - Metal Replacement Water Heater Latch.
