Michelin LTX M/S Tire Recall

I just received the latest issue of Consumer Reports. They indicated that there has been a recall of 1,200,000 Michelin LTX M/S tires. Size LT225/75R16 115/112R LRE.. Apparently you need to contact Michelin for free replacement tires. Contact number is 800-231-5893.

I have the original Conti's on the GWV, but have run LTX in the past and would guess that this affects a few members of the Forum...

The 3500 Sprinter tires are LT215s which I believe are not part of that recall. Also there is a date range of manufacture.

That is a large recall so it is good to get the word out. I'll leave this in the General forum for the best visibility.
