If I added a second alternator and dropped the Onan, I might free enough cargo capacity to properly expand my Lithium bank and finally have the gas guzzling, obese (26” wider at the mirrors!), mass produced, bastard offspring of Alvar that I’ve always wanted!

Actually, I finally came to terms with the fact that a C makes sense for us until the kids are grown. Until then I’ll happily watch RV tech advance and the Transits, Promasters, and Sprinters multiply. When I finally build my dream B, it’s going to be so easy to blend in with all of the work vans out there.

No essentially ASR is traction control, not stability control.

I'm not sure if the 2006 Sprinters had stability control. Mercedes has it on the newer Sprinters and it is called ESP (Electronic Stability Program).

If you have a button labeled ARS it is there to disable that feature for certain situations involving wheel traction. Here is clip from my 2012 owners manual.

The Eagle Has Landed. Maybe PimBmobile is a better name...
Drove through -25c, serious winds from every direction, mountain passes, icy roads and turns so tight a MB coupe would have to downshift to first gear - T1N did it with aplomb (except for the heating the driver's compartment).

All systems checked out including the Onan!
