Mattress for Winnebago Boldt 70 BL

Hello- looking for suggestions where we could get replacement mattresses for our 2022 Winnebago Boldt 70 BL Long trip coming up looking for quality and comfort. Thanks

Park at first a bed bath and beyond; if not satisfied, a bedding store: Experiment in the parking lot and return rejects. Buy and add toppers (latex, firm, med. or soft ) then add maybe a lighter foam topper to your existing mattress. It takes some trying out with different layers.You could even add a layer of air with a camp mattress somewhere in the sandwich. This is very individual depending on what you are used to, sleep position, and weight.

We went to Costco and bought a queen size mattress topper and put it into our new Roadtrek SS Agile with the Sprinter chassis.

It is just a bit larger than what the Sprinter will fit, but it worked. The back doors end will be a few inches longer so we just curved it up. The sides are just fine. Since it is a standard queen size mattress topper, any standard queen size fitted sheet will work. We also put under the fitted sheet a moisture proof mattress pad. Very comfy!!

The only draw back is the bed is "ALWAYS" in the down position since we have nowhere else to store the mattress topper. I guess if we get a large vacuum bag and compress it to fit into one of the cabinets? But to do this every day while we are out and about will not be good.


BTW, Costco has a no questions asked return policy which is very good. Not sure about the other stores (may have a restocking fee?).

You could try this system that WGO did to the Trend. It is attached to the frame the mattress lays on.
