Default Master Circuit Breaker

I have a RT Zion SRT 2018. I plugged into shore power right as a thunderstorm approached. I did plug my EMS into the power pedestal also. The power went off; I contacted the campground owner who reset the breaker on the pedestal. My EMS indicated I was getting power. But the house power never came on. (I was able to turn on the batteries during the numerous attempts made.) When I checked the major circuit breaker it was in the off position. Despite all attempts to push it to the 'on' position, it never stayed. What could be the problem?

Not sure about your circuit breakers, but many (maybe all, maybe by code) AC breakers go to an intermediate position. To reset, you need to turn it all the way off, and then back on.

you may also have a GFCI breaker for any outlets near the sink or on the outside of the van- check those

for some of us pleasureway owners the GFCI outlet next the sink in the head also protects the outlet in the galley and the outlet outside

Thanks. Unless I really don't know what I'm doing (and that may be the case) I did try pushing the circuit breaker off and then on. Also I tried turning all the breakers off and then flipping then on again.

I was hoping to find a GFIC breaker but couldn't (because I was hoping it would be a quick fix). Thanks, Mike.

It sounds like you might need to replace the circuit breaker. They fail sometimes.

Thanks, Roger. I'm afraid that it's not going to be something I can do.
