Macerator Pump Won’t Evacuate Tanks?

My wife and I recently purchased a 2018 Winnebago ERA 170X with 8,000 miles. We’ve made a couple of “sea trials” and really enjoy the unit, other than the very loud air conditioner. However, after successfully dumping both black and gray tanks on our first trip, it only drained the black tank this last trip. When I tried draining the gray tank after opening the valve, only noise of the pump, apparently spinning. The gray tank is 3/4 full. Parenthetically, when I pulled the hose out of the storage compartment, it cracked in three pieces. So, any ideas on how to fix this pumping issue? Also, is replacing the hose a project a tinkerer like me could handle?

Do not know about your hose issues. I just upgraded my van to Houghton Belaire #3400 Air conditioner. It is much quieter than most ac units. I previously had Dometic 11K unit. It was very loud. You can look the up on Advanced RV. They are available at Rec Pro for much less. Also one should look at the #3600. Same unit without the heater portion. 20lbs lighter and $400.00 less expensive. Something to consider
