I think all of us that older rigs worry about a lot of this kind of problem. Finding NOS or replacement parts can be really difficult. JB Weld is my best buddy and a close second is ole Duckie Tape.

I've got a couple of problem children on my 2007 RT that I JB Welded years ago and they still hold.

The lower hinge broke on our fridge about 2 years ago. I used a soldering gun and some zip ties and staples. Melted the plastic along the crack, imbedded staples in the crack and melted plastic from zip ties to thicken and strengthen. Has lasted 2 years and still working fine.

OK ,Thanks for the reply .
That is a great MacGuyver,,,,,,,, Guess I try that or something like that if the Super glue or what ever I put on it quits. Yours sounds nice and strong .
Guess there no chance you want to stop by and have a beer and show me how you did your repair?
Maybe looking for a door is not the right move ,if your's broke and mine did maybe it is not rosbust enough ? And yes, things breakguess I'll keep looking and keep ypur repair in mind
Thanks
Michael

Sorry - can't make it to Florida. Here is a video that may help you. I fixed mine on the road - so I used staples instead of screen and a soldering gun instead of a plastic welder.
Good luck
