Where are you gonna put that in your van? You won't be able to get it through the doors.
Wouldn't a 19" make more sense?

Seriously, is 3D TV going to be the new 8-track tape, quadraphonic sound system, desktop pc, Betamax, BlueRay, just another fad technology, that fizzles?
Just a thought.

At $689 I'd buy it I think they probably only had one available for the entire country at that price. Yesterday it showed up at $1,299 on their site and today it is not even listed there. Some of these TV's can convert from 2D to 3D. That could be fun. They connect to the web and some have Skype cameras.

The novelty of 3D might wear off quickly but I'd get one if the price was right. This started off as a search for an inexpensive TV for the rec room - maybe 32" - now I'm getting caught up in the hype.

We use a laptop in the van for movies. I have a TV tuner for the laptop but no antenna on the van yet so I haven't been able to pick up any channels.

They have 80" TV's now............ You'd need a van just to bring it home
