Can't offer any help, but have to say you asked about the ladder and just this morning, I came upon a "C"that had the ladder, loaded out with a couple of aluminum folding chairs with the red and blue webbing and some other things. I just thought of the Beverly Hillbillies.
A big reason we opted for the ladder on our Travato is to hang our Lafuma elips recliners. Yep, we rightly swapped slick looks for an easy place to set a spell. (And moveable solar panels on the associated roof rack.)
I don't think the new style Winnebago roof rack/ladder is available generally yet.
