Default Keep it or sell it ? What's next.

Things happen you can't prepare for.
We were so excited we got the camper repaired and all or most seems well with it. ...Had a busted rt rear leaf spring, and I had the Rochester Carb rebuilt. It seems really good and strong now.

Just when we think camping here we go, My 91 year old father messes up his life looses all his money and ends up having to come and live with me and my wife. He has beginning dementia and was sorely taken advantage of by several women.
Anyway were a bit crowded in here but we will survive. We have a double wide mobile home. So we converted the front room into a bed room.
Were now full time caretakers for Dad. I work full time so during the day it's all on the wife.

So the camper sits... and It will for a long time. The thing is payed for so that's good. Got Insurance , plates, city sticker... ya 50 bucks. it's just that it's killing me just sitting there. Rusting away. I lean to keeping it. Someday we may camp again. Wife say's get rid of it. She's always wanted a travel trailer...Not me....
It's not worth much 2500 to 3000 at best I would think. It has rust holes popping through now, and the gas gauge doesn't work.
I do Love my camper tho...
Ok I think I'm done ranting now.. Have a good night.
Prayers to those in Vegas.
My problems are nothing compared to these poor folks.

That's got to be hard on everyone.

If the camper isn't worth much, maybe you should keep it just so you or your wife have a place to go occasionally to get out of the house. A little privacy, but close by in case you're needed.

I think more on the wife, I get to leave and go to work. I like the Idea of keeping it too. And maybe I could find a place to keep it. For a year or so or 3 ..

It can't hurt to keep it registered, and maybe change the oil on it, so it is roadworthy. I'm sorry to read about the turn of events. Life can be pure hell sometimes.

This unexpected turn has us both(my wife and I) in a tough spot but it's for the best right now.
Thanks for your response.
