Default just saying hi

hello from northern, mn. I have an 89 coachmen van camper with 106 thou on it. before that had 2 plymouth voyagers that I modified for travelling/camping. finally got old enough that I needed to be able to stand up once in a while so got the class b. I tow a small trailer that I used to tow with my Goldwing motorcycle. I have modified it to carry a 1982 Suzuki gs450. I have gotten 70.1 mpg out of it on my best run. the van averages a little over 14mpg. I have a double slide in hitch adapter so that I can carry a cargo rack on back as well as tow trailer. am planning on adding an extra fresh water tank before spring. have 90 watts of solar which isn't much but helps.

Welcome

Sounds like you're having fun and the combined mpg - van & motorcycle - is great!

Welcome. You will find many class B guru's here to help you along the way! I am NOT one of them for sure, but am learning more every day. Happy Thanksgiving.

Welcome Horseman. If you're adding an extra fresh water tank, I'd suggest mounting it inside the cabin like Roadtrek does on their C190P's (if room permits). That way you can use the water system in moderate sub-freezing weather, which you might possibly get occasionally in northern MN. : )

Hello, it is nice to have you here. I have a 94 coachmen B. I have wondered about a wheeless trailer. How is yours loaded down especially with a trailer too.
