Default Inspections

I've seen lots of recommendations for getting an independent RV inspection, and I'm certainly going to use an NRVIA inspector when i find the right RV.

I was wondering about a separate chassis inspection from a Chevy dealer. The RV inspector isn't going to put the RV up on a lift, etc...

I hadn't seen any posts that mentioned separate chassis inspections...

I don't see why any Chevy dealer would turn you down other than being too busy.

i agree.. I was wondering about whether it was necessary in addition to an RV inspection..

It is only prudent to spend as much (if not more) effort inspecting the engine, drive line, and chassis. I did my own and have had no unexpected issues with the Chevy Express portion. As far as the coach goes, I've had to replace quite a few things that were working upon purchase, but developed problems later.

Just my way of saying that things can always go wrong as soon as you drive it off the lot. But the coach items have not been nearly as expensive as a major chassis issue like a/c, brakes, motor, or transmission would have been.

Good luck.
