Hymer to produce diesel Aktiv

Announced at Hershey show Hymer is going to produce Hymer Aktiv S based on Sprinter 2500 diesel chassis.
Basically the existing Aktiv floorplan with forward dinette, rear folding bed and cassette bathroom.

Trying to determine whether it will be available as 4X4? Anyone know?

If you want front wheel drive, you would buy the Promaster based Hymers.


There are no front wheel drive Sprinters in the US.

Knew that about the front wheel drives with the Promasters (20.35' vs 47-54' with the Sprinter). Just wondering if there was a MB update I didn't know about.
