Default How Much Propane Fills 10 Gal Tank?

Roadtrek 210P has 10 gallon, 45 lb propane tank spec in the Roadtrek Brochure. Typical fill specs indicate fill to 75-80%.

Has anyone done a fill from empty and how much propane did the tank take?

For my model year, the brochure says it is a 35lb/8 gallon tank. But it is stamped on the tank as 8.4 gallons. I did a fill from completely empty this summer at about 70 degree temps and the overfill prevention device in the tank stopped it at exactly 7 gallons. That seems about in line with the 80 perecent fill spec that you mentioned.

In my experience a 10 gallon propane tank holds 7 gallons when full.

My PleasureWay 08/09 Chevy Lexor says it's a 10 gallon tank. I've never been able to put more than 6 gallons in. I had to replace the shutoff valve and when they refilled it, the invoice said 6 gallons. I only ran out once in 6 years and it hit exactly 6 gallons when filled. It should hold 8, but maybe the manual is wrong. One of these days when I'm under the RV I'll check the model and specs.
