I like the option of PE at 70%, normal driving I am not above 70%. if you are above 70% throttle, aren't you "wanting" to use fuel, make power? And yes, the delay resets when you let off, main reason I deleted it.

While it makes sense that shorter time at richer mixture compared to longer time leaner would use very close to the same amount of energy to do the required work, I think in most cases you do use more fuel in the richer/shorter version because the combustion efficiency drops and that means more unburned fuel out the tailpipe. We hear all the time about avoiding jackrabbit starts to get better economy and I certainly see that in the Buick which I have set to go into PE pretty easily. If driven carefully it will get about 15% better mileage compared to driving in a "spirited" but more fun way. With the van that does not go into PE very often, the best way I have found to improve mileage is to prevent as many downshifts as possible, especially on rolling hills.
