See the link below to the write up. Since, I installed a 12” diameter mirror so I can see the green light without turning my head back for forward parking.
The IR beam sender/retroreflector/sensor are at height working for front-in or back-in parking.

HOA restrictions:

Landscaping is the answer (if you have space). I planted a wall of fast growing bushes to hide it from the neighbors. So far, so good.
