Default Holding Tank Cap

So the cap on the holding tank portion of my 20+ year old Vagabond portapotty has decided to call it quits and disintegrate. I can't for the life of me find this part online. Does anyone know who might carry this cap? Where can I get a replacement cap? Seems to be made of unobtainium.. - Thanks

Like so many things in the RV world it may be time to upgrade.

Get a new unit of a brand that may be around the next 20 years. Good luck with that.

This same exact unit is still be being manufactured today, re-branded "Visa". It's just a plastic box - there's nothing to upgrade. I was able to locate the part, but they want $12 to ship a little 25 cent piece of plastic. What a rip-off.

I gave it a little search and didn’t find it. Good find.

Sometimes you just have to bend over and take it! Buy two, or three, to make you feel better. (hopefully they don’t charge $12 shipping each) A black tank without a cap is not a good thing.

If the cap plastic deteriorated what about the rest of the tank? May be worth replacing entire unit. Sure wouldn't want the tank to fail.

In great shape.. the thing is actually very tough and made well, overall. But they should have used a different design for the cap.
