Got a used Roadtrek? RT suggests you register it with them

Whilst browsing the internet, I came across the following website and recommendation,
purportedly from Roadtrek. I know I've been encouraged by Roadtrek after some previous
contact with their service folks to register my used (read that, purchased used) Roadtrek.

For anyone who has purchased a used Roadtrek, please make sure you have registered it with Roadtrek Motorhomes.
This is required for product safety recalls and other communications from the factory.
Please forward the following information to sales@roadtrek.com or to (toll-free) 888-ROADTREK (762-3873):
Name, Address,
City, State/Prov., Zip/Postal Code,
Phone, email, and last 8 digits of your Roadtrek's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

So, this may just be a "noah" for many used Roadtrek owners out there, but if you haven't registered
yours, it might be worth looking into.

The folks at Roadtrek take the safety stuff seriously. My RT was purchased used and I also registered it with them. A dealer fixed a problem on it but didn't notify RT that the work was done. I got a reminder from RT to get the fix done or let them know that it had been fixed. That reminder would have been very helpful if I had forgotten to get it done or didn't know that it was required.

Agreed.
I think it also allows them to build a vehicle/owner profile, and probably allows faster response
to our occasional queries for service and informational stuff.
