front door window covers

Hello, I am new to this forum. We just purchased a RoadTrek Popular 210 and just getting to know how everything works. One thing I did not find in the manual was how to attach the front door window covers, Specifically the top part. The two sides are attached via Velcro strips, But the top is a strip of black leather like material the doesn't fit anywhere. If you put it on the window, the window doesn't close properly. if you don't attach it will fall down halfway. Does anyone have suggestions on how these attach?

a guess- Open the door and close it on the vinyl part?

for solar cover i cut out a piece of reflectix a little larger than the window and close the door(s) on it
